A will is the opportunity to ensure that your commitment to a cause endures even when you are no longer here. Through it, you express what truly matters to you — what you believe in and wish to continue protecting. With your will, a part of you will always remain here. As a non-profit organization, our work depends largely on the donations of our members and the income we receive from various events, charity shops, and contributions. Legacies and bequests are also very important for our foundation: they allow our palliative care services to continue reaching everyone who needs them — and to do so free of charge. How to make a will?
Writing your will should not be just a formality, nor something to face with fear or anxiety. It is a meaningful act in your life that allows you to decide and record your wishes in an official document.
Leaving part of your estate to Cudeca is as simple as leaving it to a loved one or family member: just make sure to specify it clearly in your will.
Making a will is usually a simple procedure, and it is highly recommended to do it before a notary. The notary may charge between €50 and €80 for preparing a will.
If needed, Cudeca can cover these notary fees.

Whenever we receive a will, it moves us deeply and makes us feel both grateful and humble, as it is an act of great generosity and a responsibility for us.
We would love to get to know the person who made it, to understand what motivated them to support us — to make such a beautiful and meaningful gesture. Above all, we would love to thank them in person. But many times, that is not possible.
That’s why, when including us in your will, we invite you to tell us a bit more about yourself. You can share your name or remain anonymous, send us a letter, a photo — simply whatever feels right to you. You can also come and visit us. We would be delighted to welcome you.
With your legacy, you will be adding LIFE TO THE DAYS of many people.
