It is a rehabilitative environment located in our centre in Benalmadena, dedicated to improving the quality of life of patients through physical therapy, complementary therapies, image care and social and cultural activities.
The professional team and qualified volunteers work together to restore the patient’s autonomy and well-being. It also offers the possibility of a break to the family member in their care work.
Day Unit activities include:
- Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation.
- Nursing care.
- Medical consultations.
- Psycho-social care.
- Creative therapies such as decoration, collage or painting.
- Recreational activities such as outings to places of cultural interest and excursions to nature.
- Complementary therapies such as reflexology, aromatherapy, massage and Reiki.
- Relaxation therapies.
- Beauty treatments.
If you are unable to come to the Day Care Unit,, please contact your day care unit nurse by telephone, who will arrange an appointment for you to see a doctor at the Cudeca’s outpatient clinic or at your home if necessary.
When you go to the day care unit for the first time, the nurse in charge will help to you. You will be able to evaluate together with the nurse, according to your preferences, needs and benefits for your state of health, which activities you would be able to carry out.
We can offer you the help of a Cudeca transport volunteer who will pick you up between 9.00 and 9.30 am and will take you back to your home at 13.00 pm when the activities of the Day Unit end, completely free of charge.
