Cudeca Hospice is holding its annual photo competition for the 2019 Cudeca charity calendar. This year the theme is "Spain, its people, its buildings, its customs". The calendar aims to raise awareness in the community about the importance of palliative care, and to raise funds for free, specialised care for more than 1,400 people with cancer and other advanced and incurable diseases in the province of Malaga each year. Thirteen photographs will be selected and published in the 2019 calendar  – one for each month with the winning photo appearing on the cover of the calendar. Those wishing to participate in the competition can send a maximum of three photographs to cudecapromocion@gmail.com The deadline for the admission of photographs is July 31 and the jury, made up of Cudeca staff and representatives from photographers' associations, will notify the 13 winners from September onwards via the Cudeca website and social networks.
