We appreciate your donations of clean, saleable goods such as: clothing, handbags, accessories, shoes, bric-a brac including tools, books, children’s clothing and things like prams, cots, etc; medical equipment, sports equipment (such as golf clubs, etc.), small electricals such as kettles, toasters, etc. Furniture and "white-goods" / large electricals (washers, etc) can now be handled through our furniture warehouse/shop in Torre del Mar - which also has the facility to collect large items. Other more valuable items such as jewellery, old coins, etc can best be donated directly to the Hospice, but call Marisa Ballestracci in the Hospice on 952 564 910 (email huchas@cudeca.org) and we can work out how best to proceed.
Please do not donate items that are very visibly worn. A good rule of thumb is “might I consider buying this?”. There are recycled clothing bins on the street in all the municipalities that can be used for these items that create problems and overheads for us.
We do not sell things like: used underclothing; old, worn shoes; ripped or stained clothing; broken furniture or broken toys, etc. It takes a long time to sort through donations, so if you can help beforehand, it helps Cudeca even more.
