We need volunteers for our Sunflower Campaign

Once again Cudeca Cancer Care Hospice is holding its annual Sunflower Campaign to raise funds and awareness on the importance of the Special Kind of Caring that Cudeca Hospice provides.

For more than two decades, Cudeca Hospice has provided care to more than 15,000 patients via the following personalised care programmes:  Home Care visits, In-Patient Unit, Day Care Centre, Physiotherapy, Counselling and the Psycho-Social Programme.  All the care provided by the Hospice is totally free of cost.

During this Campaign, a hundred Cudeca volunteers will take to the streets to raise awareness and offer Sunflowers (the symbol of International Palliative Care), in exchange for donations, with the aim of giving life to the days of over 1,400 patients and their families attended to each year by Cudeca, thanks to its professional team of doctors, nurses, psychologists, social workers, physiotherapist and volunteers.

The Sunflower Campaign 2019, will take place from 20th June to 3rd August, when awareness tables and volunteers will be conveniently located at popular locations within the Málaga capital and province such as: Arroyo de la Miel, Fuengirola, Mijas, Nerja, Torremolinos, Marbella, Málaga, Benalmádena, and many more places, with the aim of raising those vital funds enabling Cudeca Hospice to continue Giving Life to Days to those who need it most.
