Malaga painters and jewellers support Cudeca and Caritas thanks to Fernando Joyeros

F. Cudeca, Malaga 1st December 2009

The presentation of the Charity Auction of Jewellery and Paintings was held on the 1st December at the Salon de Actos of Unicaja in the Plaza de la Marina of Malaga, being organised by Fernando Joyeros to support the social and care programmes of Fundación Cudeca and Cáritas Diocesanas to be held on the 12th December at 21.00 h. at the Restaurante Doña Pepa (situated on the Malaga promenade, (c/ Velez Málaga nº 6).

Fernando Martin and Paco Ramirez of Fernando Joyeros, both friends and volunteers of Cudeca, attended the presentation, together with the renowned journalist Félix Gutiérrez, and gave emotive and heartfelt words on presenting the poster and this project which Fernando Joyeros have been organising for some years for Malaga charities. The poster for this edition has been painted by the German painter living in Malaga, Marcos Bombach.

The artists who have contributed by donating their paintings for this charity auction for Fundación Cudeca and Cáritas are: Alberca, etc. (see original)

The jewellers who have contributed by donating items for the auction are: Carlos Sánchez, Fernando Joyeros; Francisco Ruíz, Graglia, Joyería Elifer, Lolo Martín (Marper), Pepe París, Paco López Ruíz, Rafael Martín, Refer, and the firms Baume Mercier, Cartier, Longines, Mont Blanc, Tag Heuer, as well as many other jewellers from other Spanish provinces and abroad.

All of the paintings have been specially donated for the auction and are signed by artists or renowned fame both nationally and internationally and the wonderful pieces of jewellery have been donated by jewellers from Malaga, Spain and some from abroad.

Fundación Cudeca is an ONG founded in 1992 and offers Palliative Care and the best quality of life possible to those suffering from incurable cancer and also to the family, during the illness and afterwards, during mourning. The care is offered throughout the Malaga province to those who require this special care through different programmes (Home Care, Out Patients and Counselling, Psycho-Social Programme, Day Care Programme, Rehabilitation and In Patient Unit).
