Inauguration of our 25th charity shop in Calle Cuarteles in Malaga

On Thursday 23rd February we opened a new charity shop, our 25th, on Calle Cuarteles in Malaga with the aim of raising funds to continue caring for people with cancer and other advanced illnesses, as well as offering support to their families.

This new charity shop, located at No. 39 Calle Cuarteles and 30 metres from the Vialia Shopping Centre, has second-hand clothing in very good condition and decorative items for sale, as well as a corner dedicated to vintage clothing.  It is also  a collection point for second-hand clothing donations.

The event was attended by the Territorial Delegate for Social Inclusion, Youth, Families and Equality of the Junta de Andalucía, Ruth Sarabia and on behalf of the Cudeca Hospice, the CEO and Medical Director, Dr. Marisa Martín and the Charity Shops Manager, Daniel Beaudet.

We need volunteers for our new charity shop

Volunteering in our charity shops is essential for the smooth running of our shops. Volunteering involves working one shift a week (approx. 4 hours) selling products, sorting donations and customer service. Our charity shops are run by volunteers and they are the main source of income for our Foundation and all profits generated go to caring for our patients.

Anyone interested in collaborating can contact the Volunteers Department by email at voluntariado@cudeca.org or by calling 671 048 304.

Our charity shops are one of the Hospice's main sources of income and all the profits generated in our charity shops go to the care of people with cancer and other advanced illnesses, care that is offered completely free of charge.

We sell womens, mens and childrens clothing, accessories, shoes, household goods, books and much more. The items are donated and are in perfect condition.

We have charity shops throughout the province of Málaga: Estepona, San Pedro de Alcántara, Marbella, La Cala de Mijas, Fuengirola, Benalmádena, Torremolinos, Alhaurín El Grande, Coín, Málaga (El Viso, Paseo de los Tilos, Centro Comercial Málaga Nostrum, c/ Salvago, Puerta Nueva, Echevarría, c/ Cuarteles, and Plaza de la Merced), Rincón de la Victoria, Torre del Mar and Nerja.
