Generous donation from the Estepona Floral Art Club
On September 19th, the Estepona Floral Art Club made a generous donation of €500 to help fus!
Established 17 years ago, Estepona Floral Art Club is a very friendly club on the Costa del Sol, Spain, with members and visitors from Nerja to Gibraltar. Once a month they hold a flower arranging demonstration by a visiting NAFAS National or Area Demonstrator, when spectacular displays are created live on stage. They also have workshops, for those who want to learn practical skills, visits to places of interest and special events. They have members of various nationalities but all meetings are in English.
The €500 cheque was presented to a representative of Cudeca, all happening at the club´s first demonstration of the “new flower, fun & friendship year” with the joyful Kate Kerr.
The Club meets on the third Tuesday of every month from September to June, except in December when they meet earlier for their Christmas Lunch and Demonstration. Meetings are held at Agro Jardin, Cancelada. Normally, you are recommended to arrive by 2.45pm for the demonstration which begins at 3pm and finishes by 5pm. You do not need any prior knowledge of flowers or flower arranging to enjoy their events. You may become a member if you wish to attend regularly and enjoy a considerable saving over the year. Visitors are always welcome and do not need to be accompanied by a member.
