Children raise funds for Cudeca in memory of school secretary

Children from the Benalmádena International College have raised 1,500 euros for Cudeca in memory of Joanne Dixon who was the school’s secretary for ten years. Joanne suffered from cancer and was cared for by Cudeca’s doctors and nurses before she passed away at her home.

The children persuaded family and friends to donate the money, with Kristen Ramal Hristova, Joep Koehof and Charlie Eadie being the top fundraisers.

The school will be installing two wooden benches in the grounds which will carry plaques in Joanne’s name and a vegetable garden will also be created in her memory.
