On Thursday 17th June, the Blue Palm restaurant in Marbella, held an Ascot Day in aid of Cudeca and managed to raise a fantastic 240€ for the Hospice Centre. Heartfelt thanks goes to Ruth and all the staff at the Blue Palm for their hard work and support.

 

This kind donation will go towards helping to overcome the economic deficit the In-Patient Unit currently faces and prevent the possibility of its closure by the end of 2010. From the Hospice Centre, we care for hundreds of people each year suffering from advanced cancer who need the “Special Kind of Caring” Cudeca offers to the patient and support to the family thanks to the professional team of physicians, psychologists, nurses and volunteers. All the support provided is completely free of charge.
