Ballroom Tea Dance raises funds for Cudeca Hospice

Benalmádena, 11th February 2013

Vivan Benveniste triumphed one again by organising a Tea Dance at Tikitano on the 6th February 2013.  The tickets sold out very quickly and it was well attended by over 100 people.  Every one enjoyed a traditional English Tea of scones cream and jam, Victoria Sponge and a selection of sandwiches. It was a social event and incorporated a raffle for Cudeca, which raised a fantastic 475€.  One of the many prizes had been donated by SpecSavers, which was a voucher for €200 to be used for a pair of Designer sunglasses.  Lea Mullins who is an International Ballroom Champion taught several dances during the afternoon.

Vivan will be taking bookings for the next Tea Dance which is on the 6th March.  S&V Events (Sharon and Vivian) in conjunction with Tikitano will be holding various events during 2013 including a 60's and 70's evening on the 22nd May.  This will culminate in our main Charity Event in aid of Cudeca later in the year.

Cudeca is sincerely grateful for the funds received from this event.  Such donations will help Cudeca to continue Giving Life to Days to those who need it most.
