Ballroom Tea Dance raises funds for Cudeca Hospice

Benalmádena, 18th March 2013

Vivan Benveniste triumphed one again by organising a Tea Dance at Tikitano on the 6th February 2013.  Over 80 people enjoyed a traditional English Tea of scones cream and jam, Victoria Sponge and a selection of sandwiches.

Nico and Marisa who are Professional Latin American Champions took to the floor to demonstrate Salsa and Latin dances.  Everyone was encouraged to join in with some simple routines which were done in lines with no partner required.  Although energetic, everyone really enjoyed mastering some of the moves.

Following the tea, Terry and Gillian Professional Ballroom Teachers, showed several routines with guests forming a circle and learning two dances, many joining in once again. To finish off the afternoon, a charity raffle was held for the Cudeca Cancer Care Hospice, which raised a fantastic 200€.

Cudeca is sincerely grateful for the funds received from this event.  Such donations will help Cudeca to continue Giving Life to Days to those who need it most.
