The Spanish Association of Barbershop Singers raises funds for Charities

Almost 600 delegates from Spain, Portugal, England, Ireland and Holland attended the annual Barbershop Singers convention based at the Sunset Beach Club Hotel and the Torrequebrada in Benalmadena on the 22nd to 25th March. 
 
The concert known as ‘En Armonía’ (In Harmony) had the aim of raising funds for several of the  here on the Costa del Sol and Murcia.
Anne Bowles, on behalf of the Spanish Association of Barbershop Singers, visited the Hospice Centre to present Rafael Olalla, the Cudeca Financial Director, with a cheque for 150€, a percentage of the proceeds raised on the night of the concert.  The Barbershop Association also generously donated another cheque for 150€ to the Diabetic Support Group which is affiliated to the La Cala de Mijas Lions.
