The Spanish Actresses Remedios Cervantes and Sole Palmero donate Clothes to Cudeca

The El Palo Charity Shop had the honour of a visit from the Spanish actresses Remedios Cervantes and Sole Palmero as they are donating the clothes and accessories used in the play “Confidencias Muy Intimas” which they themselves produced through Alikindol Producciones. This highly successful production has just ended after touring a number of Spanish theatres over the past eighteen months.

Amongst the items donated are dresses, blouses, jerseys, handbags, shoes, suits, blouses etc., all donated thanks to the generosity of Pedro del Hierro, Grupo Cortefiel, Pedro Miralles and Giorgio Moure.

By visiting this Charity Shop, Remedios Cervantes and Sole Palmero had the opportunity of getting to know the volunteers who work in one of Cudeca’s Charity Shop. These shops are to be found throughout the Malaga province with the objective of raising funds from the sale of donated items and raising awareness on Cudeca’s “Special Kind of Caring”.

The actresses and entrepreneurs spoke kind words of support for the shop volunteers, who day by day receive, classify and sell the donated items so that they can be reused by others and in this way raise funds for the Cudeca Hospice.

Cudeca Cancer Care Hospice would like to give heartfelt thanks to Remedios Cervantes and Sole Palmero for their understanding and interest in helping us to continue Giving Life to Days for many of the people of Málaga who need us.

Cudeca is always “environment friendly” and the Charity Shops operate actively with the 3 R’s: Reduce, Recycle and Reuse, with the aim of giving life to donated items, and to save and help the more than 700 patients who are helped annually by Cudeca, completely free of charge.

The El Palo Charity Shop is situated in no. 45 Calle Almería, and is open from Monday to Friday from 10.00 - 13.30 H, and from 17.00 – 20.00 H.
