The Solidarity Book Market returns

The Solidarity Book Market returns
Yesterday in the Public Library of Arroyo de la Miel the traditional book market in aid of the Cudeca Foundation was presented. From June to September it will be possible to purchase donated and selected books in a trolley just at the entrance of the Library with books of all kinds and at solidarity prices, from 0.50 cents to help the foundation to defray the costs of their palliative care. Enrique Pablo Centella Gómez, Councillor for Education, Culture, Citizen Participation and Housing, together with Mayte Ortigosa Delgado, library technician, and Jorge López, the Foundation's communications and fundraising technician, presented the flea market and thanked users for their donations, which make this flea market and the resulting fundraising possible. They also announced the date of the street market, which will take place on 26 November and which, in addition to the sale of books, this year will include more cultural activities and a few surprises. Once again we would like to thank the Library for the effort they make, the users for their donations and purchases, and the Benalmadena Town Hall for their continued commitment to all Cudeca activities in the municipality. In all these years the Library has raised more than 30,000 euros for the Foundation with its street markets.   Thank you again.
