The Goldies fund 2 new cars for Cudeca Home Care Teams

On 30th January, The Goldies, a group of enthusiastic young-minded Cudeca support volunteers, have delivered two fantastic new cars to Cudeca Centre in Benalmadena.  Both cars will be used by Cudeca in their Home Care programme.

The following people attended the event, Joan Hunt, Founder & Honorary President, Rafael Olalla, Financial Director & Deputy Chief Executive, together Suzy Rowe, Tom Allan and other members of The Goldies.

On behalf of Cudeca, Joan Hunt received this wonderful gift, and thanked Suzy Rowe and her fantastic group of dedicated volunteers.

The Goldies started their fund raising activities for Cudeca in early 2015.  They are formally recognized by Cudeca as Fundraisers. In 2016, the group raised more than 60,000€, through the organisation of almost 30 exciting events and campaigns. A lot of enthusiasm and work is involved, although always balanced with putting the “fun” into fundraising.

These 2 brand new cars will serve Cudeca Home Care Programme for many years. A Cudeca home care team may drive up to 20.000 km. each year, visiting an average of 200-250 patients and families.  The teams care for approximately 1.300 patients and families each year throughout all of Málaga Province.
