The Barriada de los Corazones is once again supporting Cudeca.

The Barriada de los Corazones is once again supporting Cudeca.
Loli, Carmen, Felix, Raquel, Isa, José, Mari, Manme, Toñi, Tata, Antonio, Mati, Daniela, Mónica, Rosi, Mari, Ángel, Belén, Rubia, Lola .... all of them and some others, who surely escape us, are the architects of a solidarity festival that surprises more and more each year.   It is not an annual verbena, they organise it when they can, when they see the right moment, just with the spark of: "Shall we do a Cudeca?" When one of them says it, it's because the time has come and the others join in without thinking about it. It is a monumental drain of energy, but once they start they can't stop; and they are people with their daily lives of work, family, home, etc. It has taken us a while to tell you about it because the months of October and November have been packed with activities, but we can't let it go, they are members of the Cudeca family and we were eager to tell you about it.   The third "Todos con Cudeca" festival has been another success for the Corazones neighbourhood, with the help of the Malaga City Council's Department of Fiestas, local businesses, Malaga companies, dance academies, artists, everyone they know because they know that they are passionate when they put their minds to it, when they do a Cudeca they all collaborate. They have managed to raise 14,533.50 euros in 2 days of the festival and they have raised it all through donations.   This year, after the festival, they came to visit us at the Foundation, some of them did not know it and we welcomed them with a big applause. After showing them around the facilities, we had a chat and they told us that their aim is to come back to do another verbena in the future and to do better, we are totally convinced that they will do it.   We would like to thank them again for the love they show us every time they do a verbena to raise funds and help us to care at the end of life.
