What does compassion mean to you?

What does compassion mean to you?

A possible definition could be: the desire to ACT to prevent the suffering of other people, when they are faced with it.

A few days ago I shared with you José Antonio's story and how I am doing everything I can to help more people have a dignified end of life.

When a person faces an advanced illnesses, he or she not only struggles with physical pain, but also faces very strong emotional challenges. Anxiety, fear and sadness are emotions that can consume both those who are ill and their loved ones.

The care team that visits their homes is an injection of energy. They are also an injection of love.

Thanks to your support, Cudeca Hospice has been able to provide accompaniment to patients and their families, giving them a safe space to express their emotions and concerns. This support helps to ease the emotional burden of the illness and allows them to face it with strength and serenity.

By joining the Sunflower Movement:

- Many more people will live the last stage of their lives with dignity.

- They will be cared for with professional, specialised and loving care.

- Patients will be able to stay at home with their relatives, who know how to care for them.

Your support in this campaign is essential to continue to share this brotherly love at a critical time in the lives of thousands of people.

I can assure you, from my experience, that Cudeca professionals can sweeten even the most bitter moments.
