Prizes
On 5th of December, being International Volunteer Day, the Mayor of Malaga, Francisco de la Torre, presented the prizes of the 4th edition of Premios “Malaga Voluntario” at the Malaga Congress Hall, with the collaboration of Fundación Cajasol. These prizes recognise the individual work of the volunteers and organisations, who have carried out exemplary work in this field during 2008. Fundación Cudeca received a special mention under the section on HOME CARE, in acknowledgement of its work in encouraging volunteers, particularly in the foreign community, as an example of co-existance and integration, highlighting in particular its activities in charity shops and in raising awareness.
