Fundraising

The challenge is to raise 5,000 euros to support the Cudeca Foundation's project to create the first Cudeca paediatric palliative care unit. Cudeca volunteers will be with us throughout the Onda Deportiva Marbella Radiomarathon at Cortijo Miraflores with their charity tins where the public and participants can contribute as they wish.

From now on, and prior to the programme on the 26th of May, those who wish to collaborate can make their donation through Bizum to 00206. There is also a donation challenge on Cudeca's website at https://www.cudeca.org/iniciativas-solidarias/es/evento/joan-hunt-una-entre-un-millon. Similarly, donations can be sent via the donation link at https://www.ondacero.es/emisoras/andalucia/marbella/

Solidarity Triangular

As a joint solidarity activity, at the same time as the programme, the “I Torneo Radiomaratón Onda Deportiva Marbella” will be held in favour of Cudeca. In the spirit of solidarity and charity, three very special teams will participate in the event: Amigos de Añón, Amigos de Cintrano and Veteranos de Marbella. The legendary captains of Marbella FC and UD San Pedro, and a selection of prominent ex-footballers from the city will participate from 18.00 to 21.00h in the tournament that will take place at the Jesús Cortés 'Pori' pitch, Antonio Serrano Lima complex.

The Onda Deportiva Marbella Radiomarathon will be directed by the station's Sports Coordinator Julio Rodríguez, but he will not be the only well-known voice on the radio. In tribute to the more than 30 years of Onda Cero Marbella's commitment to local sport in the city, the previous heads of the programme at different stages will participate with their own space: Fran García, Miguel González and Nacho Reyes who will bring protagonists of the last decades, news and events that marked the history of sport in Marbella. In addition, the family of the first sports editor, Salvador de la Haba who sadly passed away, will receive recognition for his work. Their 'radio godfather' will be the director of Onda Cero's Radioestadio Edu García, who will inaugurate the round of speeches by the beloved, recognised and relevant voices that will accompany them throughout the day.

Onda Cero Marbella puts all its enthusiasm, work and dedication to achieve a triple objective for 12 hours: to make the world of sport in Marbella visible, to raise funds for Cudeca and to recognise the trajectory of distinguished communicators who for more than 30 years have disseminated, promoted and encouraged sport in the city.
