Today, Thursday 24th November, the annual Cudeca charity concert was presented at the Cervantes Theatre in Malaga.

 

This concert is made possible thanks to the Town Hall of Malaga, the Cervantes Theatre, Unicaja Obra Social, University of Malaga, the CEM Foundation, Isoft, Clinica Buchinger, Cadena Ser, Malaga Hoy and our Malaga Provincial Symphony Orchestra, directed by Arturo Diez Boscovich with star performance from the soloist Juan Carlos Barona.

 

Attending the presentation was the Cervantes Theatre Manager, Ms. Charo Ema and Communications Director of the same, D. Antonio Sanchez; Secretary of the Symphony Orchestra of Malaga, D. Teva Francisco Beltran, President of the Symphony Orchestra of Malaga, D. Jose Antonio Lopez Ortega, and the Director of Malaga Provincial Symphony Orchestra, D. Arturo Diez Boscovich. Also present was Unicaja's Obra Social Manager, Diego Vázquez and on behalf of the Cudeca Hospice, the Chief Financial Officer, Rafael Olalla and the Communications and Fundraising Manager, Rocío Torres.

 

The concert will take place on Monday 28th November at 20:00h, consisting of an original tribute to the soundtracks of Bernard Herrmann and Hitchcock & the music of great movies like Close Encounters of the 3rd Phase, ET, The Phantom of the Opera, Superman, Star Wars and many more.

 

Proceeds from this event will go to Cudeca Cancer Care Hospice, enabling them to continue Giving Life to Days to people with advanced cancer and support to their families.
