Marbella Design Academy raise funds for Cudeca Hospice

The University College Marbella Design Academy celebrated their Summer 2012 Graduation & Fashion Show Ceremony at the lovely H10 Andalucia Plaza Hotel in Puerto Banus and all the proceeds were given to Cudeca Cancer Care Hospice. The Design Academy with the help and support of the students and local businesses managed to raise a fantastic 860€ for the Hospice Centre.

The event was an absolute success and all tickets were sold out. The evening  kicked-off with an exclusive and static showcase display of the latest Graphics and Interior Designs. It was followed by a Catwalk Fashion Show with top professional models, including Miss Malaga and accompanied by an audio visual depicting all the latest trends in Design as predicted by the local design talent. Complimentary drinks were served and free prizes and vouchers were drawn in the raffle from the gifts donated by the local businesses.

The graduating students were presented with their Diplomas on stage at the awards ceremony. Maurice Bolan helped compere the show and all proceeds were donated to CUDECA, and the money raised will help support health professionals and palliative care to treat patients who are suffering from advanced or terminal cancer within the province of Malaga.

The evening was the rounded up by the after-show celebration party on the lovely terrace and pool gardens with top Deejay Kul from Peng Records.
