Jackson’s Got Talent Show raises €310 for Cudeca Hospice

On June 22 Friends 4 Cancer (F4C) made a donation to us, represented by Esther Ráez, for the generous sum of €310 which was raised at a brilliant Talent Night held at Jackson’s Bar in Sabinillas on June 8.   The winner of Jackson’s Got Talent was the incredible Thomas, who at just 12 years old wowed the public, obtaining a magnificent 95% of the audience’s votes.  Well done Thomas!   F4C and Cudeca would like to thank everyone who took part or who came along to watch this fun show and special thanks go to Jackson’s Bar who supported the event wholeheartedly, getting the word out, and providing food and a compere on the night. We would also like to give special thanks to the Friends 4 Cancer group for supporting the hospice and raising awareness for us through its events.  These funds will go integrally to helping us provide specialised care to over 1,400 patients annually, as well as support for their families. F4C’s next event is its first monthly Coffee Morning, to be held on July 5 at 11:00.  If you are having treatment for cancer or another advanced illness, are a cancer survivor, a family member or are bereaved then please join us for a coffee and a chat.  They will meet on the first Thursday of each month from 11:00 to 13:00 at Jackson’s Bar, Pasaje Neruda in Sabinillas.
