About the MBIA Beauty Pageant and Solidarity

Miss Black International Ambassador (Teen, Miss, Ms & Mrs) exists to provide a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for black women around the world to serve as ambassadors of change and to encourage, empower and enlighten, communities, states and nations. These global agents are emerging voices in the community seeking to make a difference by providing educational forums and events that focus on health disparities, poverty, violence and major issues affecting black communities.

They are role models not only for young African American women, but for women around the world. They collaborate with key political figures and international initiatives to support their efforts and platforms. These women are more than just a pretty face and the program is more than a competition. It is a program that offers 365 days of support and resources to communities in need. The program is a platform for today's intelligent and aware black women to express their views, talents and accomplishments to international audiences, while offering scholarships and grant opportunities to further their education or business.

About Cudeca Foundation and MBIA collaboration

Erica Lawrence visited Cudeca Foundation last April to get to know the facilities and a little more in depth about the work being done by the foundation in the field of palliative care. Erica was able to visit the Hospitalization Unit, the administration offices, the gardens, the Cudeca Institute and the Pediatric Palliative Care Project with Cudeca's Communication and Fundraising team.

For the Cudeca team, it has been a real pleasure to meet a woman of Erica Lawrence's charisma and spirit, someone who can use her beauty and her good deeds to help our charitable cause.

From now on, anyone will be able to donate to Erica Lawrence's project with Fundación Cudeca through a virtual donation link: https://www.cudeca.org/iniciativas-solidarias/es/evento/colaboracion-especial-de-eeuu-en-ayuda-a-cudeca

This is the video that Cudeca Foundation has created to promote Erica's visit and, thus, promote more collaborations with other countries and institutions in any part of our globe: https://youtu.be/dX2ixc7nwO0
