On February 8, a group of volunteers called "Cudeca Goldies" visited the hospice Centre in Benalmádena with the aim of presenting their 2019 forthcoming planning of fundraising events as well as discussing all the good fundraising work already made in 2018.
The CUDECA founder and honorary president, Joan Hunt, and the chief executive and medical director Marisa Martín, welcomed the representatives and other members of the Cudeca Goldies.
Cudeca Goldies is a group of English volunteers who organize charity and fundraising events with the goal of disseminating the CUDECA work and raising funds to help to continue their special kind of caring.
In 2018, they have organized more than 25 charity events highlighting a few of them as the Royal Ascot Day, The Jersey Boys Evening, The Grand National Day and, every first Friday of the month every year, they get together at the Mijas Costa Iceland supermarket along with the music group Costa Soul Singers to fund raise for CUDECA with their tins and vivid energy.
Only last year and thanks to their charity vibes, they have managed to raise €29,311.16.
Some of the events that stand out for 2019 are:
17 March: "St. Patrick´s Day" at Hotel Tamisa Golf in Mijas Costa
6 April: "The Grand National Day" at Hotel Tamisa Golf in Mijas Costa
April 21: "Easter Sunday Lunch" at Tamisa Golf Hotel in Mijas Costa
