A book sale you will not want to miss! The Arroyo de la Miel Library is organising its 10th charity book sale to benefit the Cudeca Hospice - Cancer Care Foundation. It will be held on Saturday, 22nd of March, from 10am to 2pm, at the main entrance to the library next to Paloma park.
This charity book sale has been taking place since 2010 and attracts many people from all walks of life and nationalities due to the variety and multitude of books on offer. You'll find: current reads in various languages, children's books, bestsellers, novels, fiction and non-fiction, biographies, collectible books, etc.....all at an amazing low price of 1 Euro.
Likewise, every Tuesday from 4pm to 8:30pm, the Library organizes a small charity "Pocket/Paperback Book" sale, next to the front desk close to the main entrance to the Library. You'll find a variety of interesting books: novels, textbooks, manuals, children's books, etc...all from as little as 50 cents.
One-hundred percent of the proceeds from the book sale will go towards the Cudeca Hospice - Cancer Care Foundation and its care programmes. The foundation provides care, yearly, to 800 people with cancer and other illnesses in advanced status and without a cure also offering support to their family members absolutely free of charge.
Thanks to the close friendship with the Arroyo de la Miel Library and the Benalmadena Town Hall, and together with your collaboration, we will be able to add Life to the Days to those who are in need now and in the future.
