Amateur runners and friends of Cudeca, Bridget and Susan, and have decided to help raise funds for the Cudeca Hospice in Benalmádena as best they know how, by running the marathon of the Sables. This tough marathon taking place in Morocco will commence on 2nd April 2011, where participants will travel 250km with only the bare essentials. The marathon takes place in several stages and there will be resting points where participants can recharge their batteries! All this effort in aid of Cudeca!

 

They have created a page on Facebook showing their progress and experiences in this intense race. They also ask the public to support Cudeca by making a donation which will enable the charity to continue Giving Life to Days to patients suffering from advanced cancer and support to the family.
