Dr. Vejay Singh, also known as Dr. Venom, is a world-renowned expert on all venomous animals, specialising in snakes and spiders. He has written a book called ‘Poisonous Creatures of the Mediterranean’ and will generously donate the net proceeds to Cudeca.

 

There will be a presentation of the book on Saturday, 26th June at the Hotel Tamisa Golf in Mijas at 10.30 for 11.00 when Vejay will give a short lecture on the venomous creatures found in Andalucia, how to recognise them and what to do if bitten by one of them. He will bring along some live (non-venomous) snakes and spiders as well as a display of some of the more dangerous species.

 

Tickets will be priced at 25€ each which will include a welcoming glass of cava, canapés and a signed copy of the book; tickets for couples are at 39€ and for families (two adults and two children) at 59€ - both these discounted prices include one copy of the book.
