Cudeca Cancer Care Hospice celebrates its 1.000th Benefactor!

On Wednesday, 15th September, Cudeca celebrated the achievement of having reached 1.000 benefactors, a figure closer to the goal of 5.000 benefactors needed for the Hospice to obtain long-term sustainability.

The presentation was attended by the Mayor of Benalmádena, Enrique Moya, the Councillor of Solidarity, Remedios Herrero, the Cudeca team and our 1000th benefactor, Remedios Claros, to who was presented with a commemorative plaque.

Regular contributions from Cudeca benefactors are put towards giving life to the days of people who suffer from advanced cancer. The special kind of caring Cudeca offered is thanks to the following health care programmes offered to the patient and family: pharmacology, nursing care, rehabilitation, care and psycho-social support.

The friendship and collaboration of the community is vital for Cudeca to continue caring for more than 600 patients and their families each year, and we sincerely hope we can continue to help to all those who need us now and in the future.
