Children from the Torrequebrada International School create Christmas cards for Cudeca

Benalmádena, 13 de diciembre de 2012

Gillian Wilson and Lide Gorocica, from the Torrequebrada International School, wanted to raise the awareness of the primary school children by supporting the Cudeca Cancer Care Hospice at this special time of the year.

Therefore, on 30th November the Cudeca Psychologist, Maria Angeles, and the Communications and Fundraising Manager, Rocío Torres, both from Cudeca, visited the 4 and 5 year old children of the Torrequebrada International School to explain the importance of helping others and the meaning behind our sunflower symbol, that is looked after by the sun, just like Cudeca cares for its patients.

The handmade festive cards are available for 1€ from the Cudeca Hospice Centre and the proceeds from these will go to help Cudeca continue offering the Special Kind of Caring to people with advanced and non-curable illnesses and support to their families.

Cudeca Hospice is sincerely grateful to Sonia Diez, Director of the Torrequebrada International School, Gillian Wilson, Infant Teacher and Lide Gorocica, Communications, and especially to the children who have devoted their time and creativity for a good cause.
