The 9th edition of the Dependency and Society Awards was held on 5 July. These awards were created with the aim of recognising the Caser Foundation's best initiatives in the area of dependency and/or disability. The Cudeca Hospice was awarded with a cheque of 1,000€ and a diploma in the communication category for its documentary video "Al escuchar el viento" (Listening to the wind). The award ceremony was held on 5 July, with the presence of the winners of the Dependency and Society Awards, as well as personalities, institutions and guests for this important event. The Cudeca Hospice would like to express its heartfelt gratitude for the support and commitment to the cause of the organization. The Caser Foundation is the result of an initiative carried out by the insurance company of the same name. It was born with the aim of promoting the development of the Dependency Law in Spain, with the main mission of bringing together perspectives and consciences around dependency. Aware of the prospects of ageing and the positive impact of prevention and the promotion of healthy lifestyles in favour of personal autonomy, it has evolved expanding its initiatives around the development of actions to promote the health and social welfare of the population. The aims of general interest are the promotion, development and encouragement of any activity, both welfare and study, research and training related to dependency, the promotion of health and social welfare or that promotes social care, the reconciliation of family and professional life, as well as solidarity and social responsibility
