Cudeca Cancer Care Hospice holds its annual Sunflower Campaign in order to raise funds and awareness to the people of Malaga on the importance of the Special Kind of Caring Cudeca provides.

 

From 9th to 24th June 2012, an army of volunteers took to the streets of many towns in the province of Málaga: Benalmádena, Fuengirola, Mijas, Estepona, Torremolinos, Marbella, Malaga, Benalmádena, Coin, Alhaurin and Nerja, to raise awareness and hand out the Cudeca sunflowers, international symbol of palliative care, in exchange for a donation.

 

Thanks to all, we managed to raise an impressive 14,557.38€, which is used to cover the costs of the care programs that Cudeca offers each year, completely free of charge, to over 750 people with advanced and non-curable illnesses within the province of Málaga .
