30 years adding Life to Days. Our charity shops.

30 years adding Life to Days. Our charity shops.

We opened our first charity shop in 1992 in the town of Fuengirola (Malaga) with the aim of helping us to raise funds through the sale of second-hand clothes and furniture to put towards the most important thing: to continue caring for and accompanying people with cancer and other advanced illnesses, as well as offering support to their families.

Today we have 26 charity shops distributed throughout the province of Malaga and managed with the important support of more than 900 volunteers.

We receive donations of items such as women's, men's and children's clothing, accessories, shoes, household goods, books and much more. 100% of the profits go entirely to Cudeca Hospice's welfare work.

And we have charity shops exclusively dedicated to furniture in Benalmádena, La Cala de Mijas, Torremolinos and Torre del Mar; and an online shop www.joanbycudeca.org

Find your nearest charity shop at www.cudeca.org/en/get-involved/cudeca-shops/

By donating or buying you are also giving back.

If you have clothing that you no longer use, books you aren’t reading, accessories and household items you would like to change, we are always happy to receive them at our charity shops if they are in good condition.

And if you have furniture in good condition, you can request our free collection service by calling 670 211 028, or sending an email to muebles@cudeca.org.

At our charity shops you can find almost everything, at very good prices: clothing, accessories, furniture, housewares, books…Everything is second hand, but in very good condition.

Help us as a volunteer

Our charity shops can open thanks to the volunteers that help run them, and the donations and support that we receive from the community, though without customers we would not be able to attain our goal: to recycle and sell in order to care for patients. As a volunteer, you would receive donations, sort them, price them, and help customers, as well as help inform about how we care.

To volunteer in our shops you only need two things: to have time (we only ask you for one morning or afternoon a week), and plenty of motivation.
