This unit would include specialised comprehensive care and compassionate accompaniment for children and adolescents, as well as their families including not only parents, but also siblings, grandparents, aunts and uncles... the whole family.
We need to raise €1,000,000 to create and manage it for 4 years. Can you help us?
To form a lasting legacy, Cudeca will be creating the first hospice palliative care unit exclusively for children and teenagers. In addition to providing an in-patient facility, the money raised will support the organisation and training of a team of professionals to provide home care, day-care and in-patient care for children and teenagers suffering from the life-limiting conditions suffered by children that are considered appropriate for children’s palliative care which is currently only available in adult facilities.
