The Foundation is backed by a Board of Trustees comprising highly recognised professionals who work altruistically to guarantee the fulfilment of its mission.

Alongside them, an Advisory Council, a Trustee of Honour, and a group of Ambassadors provide prestige, guidance and solidarity support. Daily management rests with the Executive Committee and the Management Committee,who coordinate and supervise the smooth running of all areas of the organisation.

Advisory Board

The Advisory Council brings together professionals of recognised prestige and experience in the different fields related to the Foundation's work. Our Honorary Trustee

Antonio Banderas

An actor, film director, and proud Malagueño, Antonio Banderas has stood out not only for his international artistic career but also for his deep social and charitable commitment.

He has been awarded Honorary Doctorates (Doctor Honoris Causa) by the University of Málaga and Dickinson College in Pennsylvania, in addition to being a member of the Board of the Instituto Cervantes in New York and serving as a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Development Programme.

As president of the Lágrimas y Favores Foundation, created in 2010, he promotes projects aimed at university student education and supporting people with cancer, working closely with the Cudeca Foundation to make more humane and compassionate care possible.

Domi del Postigo

An actor, journalist, and presenter, he has been actively and constantly collaborating with CUDECA since 2007, both through his journalistic role and as a host for numerous charity fundraising events. Examples of this include gala dinners, charity concerts at the Cervantes Theatre, and multiple editions of the 'Fernando Martín Pinto' Charity Golf Tournament.

Esther Arroyo

She has been collaborating with the Cudeca Foundation, in one way or another, since February 2022. For instance, she has served as the face of our charity shops, shares and participates in all our events, and has created promotional videos for our crowdfunding campaigns, the 'Walk for Cudeca – Walkathon', membership drives, and 'The Magic of Life' event, among others, to encourage public participation. Likewise, she is always ready to mobilise others in support of Cudeca's mission.

Remedios Cervantes

An actress, TV presenter, and model, she has been actively collaborating as a volunteer on both a personal and professional media level with Cudeca since 2009. She has supported numerous charity fundraising events, television programmes, and social media campaigns. Examples of her involvement include Cudeca’s Charity Shops, gala dinners, the Sunflower Campaign, the 'Become a Member' drive, as well as Cudeca's corporate, sports, and cultural events.

María del Carmen Campos Palero

A state civil servant working in Protocol for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union, and Collaboration. She is a member of the International Association of Foreign Diplomats in Spain (AIDE) and the Arabic Diplomatic Ladies in Spain.

An active collaborator since the Foundation’s inception, she has carried out significant communication and fundraising work in Madrid through Gala Dinners at the Ritz Hotel, the AIDE Kermés Charity Diplomatic Bazaar, and the Charity Table at the Queen's Birthday Anniversary at the British Consulate in Madrid.

Chucho Valdés

Born in Quivicán (Cuba), Chucho is considered one of the best pianists in the world, having won 8 Grammy awards to date: 5 Grammy Awards and 3 Latin Grammys. Chucho has been actively and constantly collaborating with the Cudeca Foundation since 2007, when he participated as a guest artist in the first charity concert performed by his father, the great Bebo Valdés. Since then, Chucho has participated on countless occasions, altruistically donating his music to support our "Special Way of Caring".

Organisational Committee

The Executive Committee and the Management Committee of the Cudeca Hospice Foundation are made up of professionals with extensive experience in the leadership and administration of social and healthcare organisations. Both bodies work in coordination to guarantee the good management, efficiency, and sustainability of Cudeca's model, always ensuring that every decision is aligned with our mission: to offer professional and compassionate palliative care to those who need it.
