Inpatient Unit Substitute Nurse

Would you like to be part of a team that helps add life to days? At the Cudeca Foundation, we are looking for a nurse to join our patient care team at our Inpatient Unit located in our Benalmádena centre.

Before taking on the role independently, you will undergo a specific onboarding and training process. This will allow you to learn in depth about Cudeca's care model, its values, and the team's coordinated way of working, thereby facilitating a progressive and high-quality integration into clinical practice.

Functions:

• Promover el óptimo desarrollo del programa de cuidados paliativos de CUDECA, ofreciendo atención integral a los pacientes y familias, en la Unidad de Hospitalización CUDECA.
• Define the appropriate nursing intervention guidelines for each patient.
• Apply action plans while transmitting Cudeca's values and philosophy.
• Document and produce reports regarding the care provided.
• Conduct evaluations on the results obtained from their clinical activity.
• Coordinate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
• Collaborate, when appropriate, with the work of the volunteer team assigned to the Inpatient Unit's patient care programme.

Job requirements:

• University degree in Nursing.
• English level B2 (CEFR).
• Training or experience in palliative care would be a strong advantage.
• Previous experience in NGOs and/or volunteering would be an advantage.
• Strong organisational, planning, and teamwork skills.
• Responsibility, Honesty, Commitment.

We offer a full-time temporary substitute contract of 37.5 hours per week, from Monday to Sunday, with morning shifts (8:00 AM to 3:00 PM) and afternoon-night shifts (3:00 PM to 8:00 AM).
