Due to the current situation with COVID-19, the Cudeca Hospice Foundation is going through very difficult times, due to the state of national alarm, and the impossibility of raising funds to continue caring for more than 500 people that we are currently attending, suffering from cancer and other advanced diseases.
For this reason and with its #CaringTogether campaign, Cudeca Hospice Foundation will still celebrate its traditional annual Walkathon, but this year it will be an “at home version” and it will be called “WalkaHOME", a home walk for Cudeca Hospice”.
The objective of the walk is to raise funds to continue caring for people who need specialized care at the end of their life.
"WalkaHOME, a home walk for Cudeca Hospice"
It will take place on Saturday, May 9th from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
How can you participate?
First: Sign up and prepare your activity.
Participants can register through the DORSALCHIP portal or the Foundation's website with a donation starting at €2. Each registration will be assigned a number that can be downloaded through the platform and used on the day of the walk. There will be a raffle with your personal number.
Participants should plan the physical activity that best suits their physical condition and the space available at home to perform it on Saturday, May 9th. You can do it together with the family, as a team, with your pet, or alone, and it will have neither times nor distances.
