{"id":28663,"date":"2022-12-21T14:09:19","date_gmt":"2022-12-21T14:09:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cudeca.org\/?p=28663"},"modified":"2023-02-09T15:57:36","modified_gmt":"2023-02-09T15:57:36","slug":"aldakar-por-un-grano-de-arena","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cudeca.org\/en\/actualidad\/aldakar-for-a-grain-of-sand\/","title":{"rendered":"Aldakar for a grain of sand"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Alfredo Rubio and Alberto Benedicto embark on the Dakar 2023 with Malaga and Cudeca as their flagship.<br \/>\nThe solidarity project &#8216;Aldakar por un grano de arena&#8217; is sponsored by former international footballer Koke Contreras and will generate resources for the Cudeca Foundation.<br \/>\nAlfredo Rubio and Alberto Benedicto, after deciding to participate in the 2023 edition, both subsequently developed the idea of linking their personal experience to a social challenge by lending their selfless collaboration to anyone who might need it. Thus, Rubio (driver) and Benedicto (co-driver) will embark on 14 stages in a buggy in the T3 category with two fundamental objectives: to crown their rally successfully on 15 January in Dammam and to enjoy the route with Malaga and the Cudeca hospice as visible banners. It is his particular Ithaca. To combine the word solidarity with the demand, skill and endurance that this mythical competition requires.<br \/>\nAfter some meetings in record time, the riders decided to support the Cudeca Hospice, based in Malaga and a pioneer in palliative care for cancer patients. The personal experience of a mutual friend of Rubio and Benedicto, and the exhaustive knowledge of how Cudeca works, pushed both of them to an agreement whereby they will carry the name of the hospice on their vehicle and on the Buggy Masters Team technical team&#8217;s truck.<br \/>\nIn addition, they will donate some objects and material used during the Dakar Rally (overalls, gloves, goggles&#8230;) so that at the end of the rally, resources will be generated thanks to the participation of those who wish to participate in an online raffle. The profits will go entirely to Cudeca.
