The Onda Deportiva Marbella Radiomarathon will be broadcast from the Cortijo de Miraflores Cultural Centre from 12.30 pm until 00.30 am on the Onda Cero App and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ondacero.es\/marbella\">ondacero.es\/marbella<\/a> website to raise funds to help create the first Cudeca paediatric palliative care unit.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>During the very intense day of twelve uninterrupted hours more than 80 sportsmen and sportswomen, Marbella ambassadors abroad and local clubs will be the protagonists with interviews, talk shows, competitions, musical performances and surprises. It will be a party with prominent names such as Carlos Cabezas, Rub\u00e9n Guerrero, Olympians Azahara Mu\u00f1oz and Elena Ben\u00edtez, Luis \u00c1ngel Mat\u00e9, \u00c1ngel Trinidad, Javier D\u00edaz Carretero and a long list of sportsmen and women along with young talents from the Marca Marbella municipal programme (Marbella Brand).<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Fundraising<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The challenge is to raise 5,000 euros to support the Cudeca Foundation&#8217;s project to create the first Cudeca paediatric palliative care unit. Cudeca volunteers will be with us throughout the Onda Deportiva Marbella Radiomarathon at Cortijo Miraflores with their charity tins where the public and participants can contribute as they wish.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>From now on, and prior to the programme on the 26th of May, those who wish to collaborate can make their donation through Bizum to 00206. Similarly, donations can be sent via the donation link at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ondacero.es\/emisoras\/andalucia\/marbella\/\">https:\/\/www.ondacero.es\/emisoras\/andalucia\/marbella\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Solidarity Triangular<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As a joint solidarity activity, at the same time as the programme, the \u201cI Torneo Radiomarat\u00f3n Onda Deportiva Marbella\u201d will be held in favour of Cudeca. In the spirit of solidarity and charity, three very special teams will participate in the event: Amigos de A\u00f1\u00f3n, Amigos de Cintrano and Veteranos de Marbella. The legendary captains of Marbella FC and UD San Pedro, and a selection of prominent ex-footballers from the city will participate from 18.00 to 21.00h in the tournament that will take place at the be directed by the station&#8217;s Sports Coordinator Julio Rodr\u00edguez, but he will not be the only well-known voice on the radio. In tribute to the more than 30 years of Onda Cero Marbella&#8217;s commitment to local sport in the city, the previous heads of the programme at different stages will participate with their own space: Fran Garc\u00eda, Miguel Gonz\u00e1lez and Nacho Reyes who will bring protagonists of the last decades, news and events that marked the history of sport in Marbella. In addition, the family of the first sports editor, Salvador de la Haba who sadly passed away, will receive recognition for his work.
