During the visit, Luz\u00f3n was also able to see the different care areas that make up the centre and which attend to people with incurable or advanced diseases, from a multidisciplinary point of view and focused on the comprehensive care of all the patient&#8217;s needs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>This Foundation aims to improve the quality of life of ALS patients<\/strong>. As part of this work, they have created a National ALS Community that is centred on the patient and their family. The Luz\u00f3n Foundation works both to improve the social and welfare care of these patients and to promote research into the treatment of ALS.<\/p>\n<p>This Foundation is promoted by <strong>Francisco Luz\u00f3n<\/strong>, a retired economist who was diagnosed with this disease at the beginning of his retirement.
