{"id":24040,"date":"2020-07-01T08:13:15","date_gmt":"2020-07-01T08:13:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cudeca.org\/?p=24040"},"modified":"2020-08-18T13:10:51","modified_gmt":"2020-08-18T13:10:51","slug":"cena-de-gala-benefica-fundacion-cudeca-4-de-septiembre-2020","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cudeca.org\/en\/actualidad\/cena-de-gala-benefica-fundacion-cudeca-4-de-septiembre-2020\/","title":{"rendered":"Cudeca Hospice Gala Dinner 2020 &#8211; CANCELLED"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Message from Rafael Olalla<br \/>\nDeputy Chief Executive, Director of Finance, Communications &amp; Fundraising<br \/>\nCudeca Hospice<\/p>\n<p>Cudeca Hospice wishes to inform you that the Cudeca Charity Gala Dinner, scheduled for 4th September has been cancelled, due to the current situation relating to Covid19, which forces us to take extreme measures of caution.<\/p>\n<p>Although we still need the support of the community, we believe that at the moment it is necessary to act with prudence and hope that we can soon celebrate the Gala Dinner again in the not too distant future.<\/p>\n<p>We would like to thank all those who have already confirmed their attendance and promise that as soon as possible we will reorganize the event and have an enjoyable evening together.<\/p>\n<p>We take this opportunity to report\u00a0 from Cudeca Hospice that we continue to serve, despite all the difficulties, our patients and their families, through our Home Care Programme, In-Patient Unit and Psychosocial Care Programme.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;12px&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<span style=\"color: #333333;\"><strong>The COVID19 crisis has brought many things to the forefront and we have all seen the need, even greater than before if possible, to help those who are approaching the moment of their death.\u00a0Our patients should not die alone and they must be cared for, medically, psychologically and spiritually, and this includes the family.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><strong>Now we need the support of the community, your support, so that we can continue to do our work to reach all those who are in that situation.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>On Friday, <strong>4th of September<\/strong>, we will celebrate our traditional Gala Dinner at the incredible <a href=\"https:\/\/www.restaurantejcg.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jos\u00e9 Carlos Garc\u00eda, Michelin Star restaurant<\/a>, with the aim of raising funds to continue serving the requirements of the most vulnerable, who in the last moments of their lives need us most.<\/p>\n<p>The Gala Dinner will take place this year in the gazebo and will start at 9:00 p.m. (the cocktail will be served at the tables).<\/p>\n<p>Likewise, there will be a charity raffle for\u00a0 Cudeca Hospice with amazing gifts donated by collaborating companies and an open bar overlooking the magnificent pier one.<\/p>\n<p>The price per person is \u20ac85.
