The Cudeca Hospice was born with the aim of caring for people with cancer and other advanced illnesses and offering support to their families. Today, more than ever due to COVID-19, its care is more necessary to help those who face the end of life.<\/p>\n

The charity shops have always been essential to fulfilling that mission by raising funds through the sale of second-hand items and furniture. After more than 2 months closed by COVID-19, Cudeca has reopened its charity shops, which are managed by teams of volunteers and are the most important source of funding for the foundation.<\/p>\n

Cudeca Shops have taken all the safety and hygiene measures with the staff and volunteers as well as giving training on the Action Plan to follow in the shops. Volunteers will receive necessary protection equipment for their safety and for that of the customers. Moreover, the capacity will be regulated, and hydroalcoholic gel will be made available to all customers for hand disinfection and the use of masks will be mandatory for access to the shops.<\/p>\n

All of our charity shops are open in the morning and afternoon except for (morning only):<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Cudeca Shops is taking extreme preventive measures with donations receiving a double security process: quarantine for all donations for 72 hours and disinfection with steam at 120\u00ba of each item to be put out for sale.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]Purchases<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Each shop has adapted to the recommendations to promote social distancing (methacrylate screen, strict planning of daily cleaning and disinfection of common areas, elimination of display stand to favour a free- circulation of customers, etc …).<\/p>\n

Additionally, the number of available changing rooms has been limited, and credit card payment will be encouraged.<\/p>\n

Items that customers try on but choose not to buy will be quarantined for 72 hours and disinfected before being available again for sale.<\/p>\n

Cudeca’s charity shops sell women’s, men’s and children’s clothing, accessories, shoes, bric-a-brac, books and much more. It also has furniture shops in Torremolinos, Benalm\u00e1dena and Torre del Mar. 100% of the profits go entirely to the care work of the Cudeca Hospice.
