The Cudeca Hospice was created with the aim of caring for and accompanying people at the end of their life. Charity shops have always been essential, through the sale of second-hand clothing and furniture, to cover half of the healthcare and\u00a0 needs of the people we serve with the highest degree of dignity and humanity.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

After more than 2 months of closure by COVID-19, Cudeca is reopening its charity shops thanks to the collaboration of the community, but many volunteers, who are in “at risk” groups, will not be able to continue helping as they did before.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Cudeca volunteers say that in joining Cudeca they feel that they are part of a family and that they not only help with a little of their time, but Cudeca is also a meeting point where they can meet new friends, practice languages, etc.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n


\nEach shop needs between 20 to 30 volunteers to help 3 to 4 hours a week, morning or afternoon, to receive donations, classify them, help customers, sell items, decorate the shop and spread awareness about CUDECA HOSPICE and the special care it gives.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n


\nOn Wednesday May 20th<\/b> Cudeca Charity Shops will reopen, in the mornings, at 14 of the 23 shops that Cudeca has across Malaga province<\/a>, following all the measures recommended by the Ministry of Health in terms of capacity, safety and hygiene, and with all necessary protection elements for the safety of volunteers and our customers.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
