{"id":22716,"date":"2019-12-10T10:51:54","date_gmt":"2019-12-10T10:51:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cudeca.org\/?p=22716"},"modified":"2019-12-12T08:36:24","modified_gmt":"2019-12-12T08:36:24","slug":"zambomba-benefica-navidena-en-benahavis","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cudeca.org\/en\/actualidad\/zambomba-benefica-navidena\/","title":{"rendered":"\u201cLa Zambomba\u201d Flamenco Carols for Charity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Next Saturday 14 December from 11.00 hours, a Flamenco Carols Charity event known as \u201cLa Zambomba\u201d, will take place in Benahav\u00eds, in aid of 3 Charities: CUDECA Cancer Care Hospice, Proyecto Hombre and Mary\u00b4s Meal with the collaboration of Benahav\u00eds Town Hall.<\/p>\n<p>The event will start at 11.00 am with a Christmas Market located in the Benahav\u00eds main street, where the public can do their Christmas shopping and collaborate with the Charity Raffle which will offer more than a hundred prizes kindly donated for this event. There will be dinners, Hotel stays, GreenFee vouchers, art, music and much more.<\/p>\n<p>All the funds raised at this Raffle will be entirely donated to this year\u00b4s chosen charities.<\/p>\n<p>At 4 pm people attending the event will have the chance to enjoy the best show offered by \u201cLA ZAMBOMBA\u201d, traditional Flamenco Christmas Music with tambourines and hand-clapping of the Zambomba \u201cDe M\u00e1laga a Bel\u00e9n\u201d with: Manuel de la Curra (Director), Delia Membrive (Flamenco singer), Mar\u00eda Cortes (Flamenco singer), Chelo Soto (Flamenco Singer), Fabiola Santiago (Flamenco Singer), Francis Bonela (Flamenco Singer), Jose Manuel Fern\u00e1ndez (Flamenco Singer), Natanael Lucas (Guitar) and Carlos Haro (Guitar). All of them will offer their music to enliven the event where, not only funds will be raised, but information about the work of these 3 charities will be given to those who are interested.<\/p>\n<p>For that purpose, Cudeca will have an information stand with volunteers who will explain about the Hospice social welfare to anyone who may be interested.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to the collaboration of the whole Malaga community, the costs of all this care, which can reach as much as 3 million euros per year, can be covered.
