Hikers headed up\u00a0to El Refugio de Juanar\u00a0to begin the hike to the peak of the mountain. The route taken will be the slightly\u00a0longer path\u00a0than that from Ist\u00e1n but a little less demanding. Nevertheless, the\u00a0famous\u00a0La\u00a0Concha\u00a0mountain stands tall\u00a0at 1200m, so hikers should have been prepared for a full day\u2019s hiking and carry\u00a0suitable provisions, footwear and clothing. Those\u00a0that made it to the top were\u00a0treated with spectacular views over the Costa del Sol, and everyone in the small group made voluntarily donations to us raising a great total amount of \u20ac980.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-20208\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cudeca.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Hikers-at-the-peak-all-in-1-caf\u00e9-CUDECA-sunflower-300x225.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.cudeca.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Hikers-at-the-peak-all-in-1-caf\u00e9-CUDECA-sunflower-300x225.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/www.cudeca.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Hikers-at-the-peak-all-in-1-caf\u00e9-CUDECA-sunflower-768x576.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/www.cudeca.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Hikers-at-the-peak-all-in-1-caf\u00e9-CUDECA-sunflower-1024x768.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/www.cudeca.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Hikers-at-the-peak-all-in-1-caf\u00e9-CUDECA-sunflower.jpeg 1600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 85vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Two CUDECA volunteers and a representative from CUDECA were present at breakfast and to wave as hikers headed up to La Concha after a great moment together while having breakfast and taking pictures of the very exciting start of the event.<\/p>\n<p>One of the <strong>hikers<\/strong> (who prefers us not to use his name) mentioned that: \u201cIt is such a great honor for me to be part of this event since I love nature and I personally understand the work that CUDECA does to the community. I hope we can help you out a little bit with our donations and our enthusiasm\u201d.-<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>On their side, the CUDECA representative, <strong>Esther R\u00e1ez<\/strong> from the <strong>Communication and Fundraising department<\/strong>, stated that: \u201cWithout the support of the community and our volunteers it would be very difficult for CUDECA to continue caring for so many patients. I am very happy to share this breakfast with all these generous hikers at this beautiful caf\u00e9 All in 1 Caf\u00e9, which always receives me with open arms\u201d.-<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This is only one of the various events that All in 1 Caf\u00e9 is organizing to help the Cudeca Hospice.
