[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]On Saturday 7th July, more than a hundred people gathered in the beautiful gardens of the prestigious Buchinger Wilhelmi Marbella Clinic<\/a> to enjoy Daniel Casares<\/a>‘ flamenco charity concert, raising more than \u20ac2,000 entirely to help us.<\/p>\n

On arrival, attendees were awarded our sunflower symbol. The event began with a welcome brief speech from the director of the clinic, Katharina Rohrer, who thanked the attendees for their support of the admirable work of the Cudeca Hospice.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\"\"\"\"\"\"\u00a0<\/strong>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The CUDECA representative, Assumpta Eceiza Nebreda, Financial and Facilities Manager of CUDECA, pointed out that there were many years of collaboration between CUDECA and the Buchinger Clinic and that “we hope that, with the help of Buchinger Wilhelmi Marbella, we can continue offering these excellent charity concerts for many more years”, stated she with enthusiasm.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

As for the musical repertoire offered by the artists, Daniel Casares’ ensemble seduced the audience with themes from his new show, Palo Santo: “a mixture of feelings and musicality that makes this show a volcano of sensations”, according to the artist himself. Some other songs from his previous album, Picassares, were also performed during the evening. The spacious stage was set up in the centre of the main garden of the clinic surrounded by leafy cork oaks from which lanterns with candles were hung inside creating the right atmosphere to enjoy this charity recital. The attendees also had the opportunity to taste the exquisite natural juices of the Clinic.<\/p>\n

We would like to deeply thank the Buchinger Wilhelmi Marbella Clinic for organising this concert in a totally altruistic and supportive manner with the sole aim of raising funds to support the charity.<\/em><\/p>\n

About Daniel Casares<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Daniel Casares’ professional career is premature. At the age of 13, he took part in the recording of the collective album “A la Guitarra de Estepona”.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

At the age of 16, he was awarded the prestigious Bord\u00f3n minero de La Uni\u00f3n, becoming the youngest guitarist to date to achieve it. In addition, he won the Ja\u00e9n National Guitar Award and this made it possible for him to record his first album, Duende Flamenco, that same year, although it would not be released until 1999, when he was 19 years old. He was named “Musical Revelation” of 2005 in New York, recognition granted by the association of show chroniclers ACE. In 2010 he was chosen by an international delegation to represent European culture at the media launch gala at Expo 2010 in Shanghai.<\/p>\n

Daniel Casares has collaborated countless times with other artists such as Alejandro Sanz, Antonio Orozco, Jos\u00e9 Merc\u00e9, Pasi\u00f3n Vega, among many others.
