{"id":17792,"date":"2018-06-21T11:39:38","date_gmt":"2018-06-21T11:39:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cudeca.org\/?p=17792"},"modified":"2018-06-26T11:57:57","modified_gmt":"2018-06-26T11:57:57","slug":"cena-de-gala-benefica-fundacion-cudeca-2018-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cudeca.org\/en\/actualidad\/cena-de-gala-benefica-fundacion-cudeca-2018-2\/","title":{"rendered":"CUDECA celebrates its Annual Gala Dinner in M\u00e1laga"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On June 16th the <strong>CUDECA Foundation<\/strong> celebrated its annual Gala Dinner at the <strong>Michelin star chef Jos\u00e9 Carlos Garc\u00eda<\/strong>\u2019s eponymous restaurant on Muelle Uno in M\u00e1laga city.<\/p>\n<p>The charity event was attended by <strong>Cudeca friends and members, volunteers, employees and leading members of M\u00e1laga\u2019s business world and public institutions<\/strong>, including the managing director of the Costa del Sol Public Health Agency, <strong>Torcuato Romero;<\/strong> the coordinator of public health care procedures, <strong>Francisco Martos;<\/strong> social services councillor from the Provincial Council, <strong>Lourdes Burgos<\/strong>; deputy secretary of the Official Malaga College of Physicians, <strong>Carlos Carrasco<\/strong>; president of the Official Malaga College of Nursing, <strong>Juan Antonio Astorga<\/strong>; president of the Official Andalucia College of Physiotherapists, <strong>Juan Manuel Nieblas<\/strong>; president of the Professional College of Pharmacists, <strong>Francisco Florido<\/strong>; president of the Malaga Foundation, <strong>Juan Cobalea<\/strong>; CEO of JJSpain, <strong>Manuel Toledo<\/strong>; Marketing Director of FYM Italcementi Group, <strong>Tom\u00e1s Azor\u00edn<\/strong>; CEOs of Mi Colch\u00f3n, <strong>Jacobo and Francisco Guerrero<\/strong>; Head of Communication for Vithas Xanit Hospital Internacional, <strong>Cristina Rico<\/strong>; Marketing Director of Aurelio Marcos Jewellers, <strong>Esther Ru\u00edz<\/strong>; CEO of the L\u00f3pez Pardo Group, <strong>Antonio L\u00f3pez Pardo<\/strong>; E-commerce Director at the Hotel Kempinsky, <strong>Jes\u00fas C\u00e1diz<\/strong> and on behalf of the CUDECA Foundation, president <strong>Ricardo Urdiales<\/strong>; CEO and Medical Director, <strong>Marisa Mart\u00edn<\/strong>; Deputy CEO and Finance Director, <strong>Rafael Olalla; <\/strong>and once again, master of ceremonies, Cudeca ambassador and journalist, <strong>Domi del Postigo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Guests mingled, enjoying drinks and exquisite haute cuisine tapas on the terrace overlooking Malaga Port while pianist Claudia Fern\u00e1ndez entertained them, before moving to the restaurant\u2019s interior for dinner.\u00a0 Here Marisa Martin gave a short speech, naming <strong>Mayca Campos as Ambassador for the Cudeca Foundation<\/strong> in recognition of the work she has done over many years to help the cancer care hospice.<\/p>\n<p>A number of local businesses and institutions reserved tables for clients and friends, including <strong>JJSPAIN, Segurisur, Distribuciones Luna, The Unicaja Foundation,<\/strong> <strong>the Official Malaga College of Nursing, Pinturas Andaluc\u00eda and Vithas Xanit Hospital Internacional<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>During the evening guests enjoyed the culinary creations of <strong>Jos\u00e9 Carlos Garc\u00eda<\/strong>, who has been awarded two Michelin stars during his career; piano melodies by <strong>Claudia Fern\u00e1ndez and a charity raffle <\/strong>with fantastic prizes donated by businesses which support CUDECA including Reserva Tauro, Hotel Torrequebrada, El Pimpi Bodega-Bar, AC M\u00e1laga Palacio, Hotel Las Palmeras, Estepona Golf, Villa Tiberio, Restaurante Santiago, Hotel El Rompido, Zerimar, La Calma Centro, D-Beauty Group, Vithas Xanit International Hospital, Hotel Puente Romano, Hotel Kempinski Bah\u00eda, Restaurante El Laurel, Restaurante La Escalera, Unicaja Baloncesto and RENFE.<\/p>\n<p>The gala dinner was made possible thanks to the collaboration of <strong>Viveros Guzm\u00e1n, Bodegas Dimobe, Grupo Jorge Ordo\u00f1ez, Grupo L\u00f3pez Pardo, MiColch\u00f3n <\/strong>and<strong> Fundaci\u00f3n M\u00e1laga<\/strong>.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On June 16th the CUDECA Foundation celebrated its annual Gala Dinner at the Michelin star chef Jos\u00e9 Carlos Garc\u00eda\u2019s eponymous restaurant on Muelle Uno in M\u00e1laga city.
