{"id":17389,"date":"2018-05-10T14:48:03","date_gmt":"2018-05-10T14:48:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cudeca.org\/?p=17389"},"modified":"2018-05-10T14:48:03","modified_gmt":"2018-05-10T14:48:03","slug":"campana-de-huchas-2018","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cudeca.org\/en\/actualidad\/cudecas-tin-collection\/","title":{"rendered":"Cudeca\u00b4s tin collection"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On April 28th the Cudeca Foundation \u2013 Cancer Care signed an agreement with the Malaga-based company MiColch\u00f3n, leaders in beds and mattresses, at the Hospice Centre in Benalm\u00e1dena.<\/p>\n<p>Present at the signing were Cudeca Foundation\u2019s finance director, Rafael Olalla and MiColch\u00f3n\u2019s manager, Jacobo Guerrero, together with members from the marketing team.<\/p>\n<p>In this accord MiColch\u00f3n has agreed to support the Foundation with the production and labelling of the collection tins, which are used to raise public awareness and collect funds for Cudeca. These tins can be found, thanks to Cudeca volunteers, in businesses and homes across the province of Malaga during the 2018\/2019 campaign.<\/p>\n<p>The signing of the accord is just the beginning of a partnership which will see a number of joint activities take place to raise funds and highlight the work of the Foundation. The tins, which will carry the MiColchon trademark, will be distributed over the whole year throughout the province of M\u00e1laga.\u00a0 And this local firm has also agreed to help with future campaigns undertaken by Cudeca, such as the Walkathon, the recruitment of volunteers or the Foundation\u2019s sports and cultural events.<\/p>\n<p>Parallel to the signing of this accord, Malaga cartoonist \u00c1ngel Id\u00edgoras agreed to collaborate with the 2018 Collection Tin Campaign, drawing a series of cartoons which illustrate how the collection tin campaign works and how people can collaborate.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to these drawings we have been able to make two videos explaining the campaign, with the help of journalist and Cudeca ambassador, Domi del Postigo and the Foundation\u2019s vice-president, Susan Hannam.<\/p>\n<p>The links to these videos are:<\/p>\n<p>Spanish: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=u9uk76aDSIk\"><strong>https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=u9uk76aDSIk<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>English: <strong>:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/Bvzc2larJ1Q\"><strong>https:\/\/youtu.be\/Bvzc2larJ1Q<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In 2017, the Cudeca tins raised more than \u20ac60,000, which will help us to care for 60 patients and their families in 2018.
