Present at the event were <strong>Sandra Garc\u00eda-San Juan<\/strong>, organizer, together with <strong>Cudeca\u2019s Patron of Honor, Antonio Banderas<\/strong>. Many personalities, politicians and high society celebrities attended, supporting the Starlite Concerts as the high-light of the Marbella summer social scene.<br \/>  \u00a0<br \/>  The <strong>Starlite concerts<\/strong> objective is to raise awareness and funds for <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/ninosenalegria.org.mx\/\" target=\"_blank\">Ni\u00f1os en Alegr\u00eda Association<\/a><\/strong>, founded by <strong>Garc\u00eda-San Juan<\/strong>, whose work is being carried out in Mexico, and the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.fundacionlagrimasyfavores.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Fundaci\u00f3n Malague\u00f1a L\u00e1grimas y Favores<\/a><\/strong>, chaired by <strong>Antonio Banderas<\/strong>, which supports projects for Cudeca, C\u00e1ritas and scholarships for students with scarce resources, attending the University of M\u00e1laga.\u00a0<br \/>  \u00a0<br \/>  The evening was hosted by <strong>Carlos Latre <\/strong>and <strong>Valeria Mazza<\/strong>, and featured the performance of <strong>Ni\u00f1a Pastori.<\/strong> During dinner, the <strong>Starlite Awards<\/strong> were presented to singer <strong>Miguel Poveda<\/strong>, flamenco dancer <strong>Sara Baras<\/strong>, actress <strong>Loles Le\u00f3n,<\/strong> Atl\u00e9tico Madrid Coach <strong>Diego Pablo Simeone<\/strong> and 2-star chef Michelin <strong>Dani Garc\u00eda.<\/strong><br \/>  \u00a0<br \/>  We are honoured to be involved and would like to thank all those who made the event possible and whose interest in our mission makes it possible for us to offer our special end of life care and showed their support by wearing our symbolic sunflower.<br \/>  \u00a0<br \/>  We would also like to thank <strong>Sandra Garc\u00eda-San Juan<\/strong> and <strong>Antonio Banderas, <\/strong>as well as\u00a0<strong>Nicole Kimpel,<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Anne Igartiburu, Javier Banderas, Vanesa Romero,<\/strong> the actress<strong> Ana Fern\u00e1ndez, Estefan\u00eda Luyk, Marta S\u00e1nchez, Santiago Segura, Elsa Anka, Nuria Ferg\u00f3, Eugenia Mart\u00ednez de Irujo, M\u00f3nica Naranjo<\/strong>, on behalf of the L\u00e1grimas y Favores M\u00e1laga Foundation <strong>Jos\u00e9 Manuel \u00c1lvarez, Eduardo Rosell, Antonio Pedraza<\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.marbella.es\/\" target=\"_blank\">Town Planning Councellor for the city of Marbella<\/a><\/strong>,<strong> Kika Caracuel <\/strong>and many other Friends and collaborators whose interest on our cause gives us strength.<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div><\/div>\n<p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We were present at the Starlite Gala held in Marbella which is one of the most charitable gala events held in Spain.
