{"id":16536,"date":"2017-06-21T19:15:06","date_gmt":"2017-06-21T19:15:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cudeca.org\/actualidad\/cudeca-hospice-2016-annual-results-presentation-2\/"},"modified":"2017-06-21T19:15:06","modified_gmt":"2017-06-21T19:15:06","slug":"cudeca-hospice-2016-annual-results-presentation-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cudeca.org\/en\/actualidad\/cudeca-hospice-2016-annual-results-presentation-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Cudeca Hospice 2016 Annual Results Presentation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div id=\"notCuerpo\">\n<div>We have celebrated our <strong>Presentation of the Home Care, Teaching, Researching, Volunteering and Economic 2016 Results<\/strong> at the Cajamar Hall of the financial entity in Malaga. \u00a0<br \/>  \u00a0<br \/>  The event was held in the city centre of Malaga to inform our volunteers and friends.<br \/>  \u00a0<br \/>  Attending were many representatives of public institutions, companies, organizations, together with volunteers, friends and many supporters, including <strong>Angeles Arias Rodriguez<\/strong>, Western Malaga Area Manager of Cajamar; <strong>Julio Andrade<\/strong>, Councilor for Citizen Participation of the City of M\u00e1laga; Doctor <strong>Jos\u00e9 Antonio Ortega Dominguez<\/strong>, Vicepresident 1st Colegio de M\u00e9dicos de M\u00e1laga; <strong>Antonio M\u00aa Lara<\/strong>, General Foundation of the University of M\u00e1laga FGUMA; <strong>Luisa Ca\u00f1adas<\/strong>, Carrefour; <strong>Belen Gaspar<\/strong>, Luis Olivares Foundation; <strong>Sebasti\u00e1n Fern\u00e1ndez<\/strong>, Responsible for the Social Area of \u200b\u200bthe M\u00e1laga CF Foundation; and, on Cudeca Foundation behalf, <strong>Dra. Mar\u00eda Luisa Mart\u00edn<\/strong>, Chief Executive &amp; Medical Director and <strong>Rafael Olalla<\/strong>, Deputy Chief Executive &amp; Financial Director, together with volunteers and supporters.<br \/>  \u00a0<br \/>  The event was inaugurated by Angeles Arias, Julio Andrade, Dr. Jos\u00e9 Antonio Ortega and Rafael Olalla.\u00a0<br \/>  \u00a0<br \/>  <strong>Dr. Mar\u00eda Luisa Mart\u00edn<\/strong>, our Chief Executive &amp; Medical Director explained the result of the caring provided during 2016 to 1,270 patients by the 5 Home Care Teams and 235 patients cared for in the In-Patient Unit. She also highlighted as future projects: the improvement of Palliative Care for children and also the construction of the Training Centre as a way to finance Cudeca\u00b4s care and spread the knowledge of Palliative Care among national &amp; international professionals.
